Fabric and Beaded Jewelry Necklaces that You can Easily Make

I love the look of using fabric and beads. Here is a sophisticated version of the long beaded jewelry necklaces that you see everywhere. I used thin leather cord and a wispy tan and black fabric cord together. You can use anything your imagination dreams up to make beaded jewelry designs. I usually get inspired once I see the cord. After cutting the two strands into 50 inch lengths, I used pewter beads with big holes to break up the monotony of the fabric and then for an extra movement I added the pewter rings that I just tied the cord to. When you mix the flat color of the cord with a little bit of shine from the pewter, you get a very earthy bohemian type look that is oh so popular right now. I love it, too, because you can wear it as one long strand or wrap it around twice and wear it as a double choker necklace. When you want beaded jewelry necklaces without all the sparkle, this is a nice design.
