Jewelry Making Instructions for Wire Lace Ribbon

Here are jewelry making instructions for wire lace ribbon. As part of your beaded jewelry designs don't forget to use unique cording. My favorite this year has been the wire lace ribbon. Above is a simple necklace I make with the following components:

Big Hole lampwork beads

sterling silver ribbon ends

sterling silver 4mm magnetic clasps

2 strands of .5 mm wire lace ribbon.

If the holes in your beads aren't big enough, you can use one strand of ribbon. Start by keeping your ribbon small. After you have strung your beads, gently fan out the ribbon for maximum romantic effect. This ribbon makes any piece look very feminine and sometimes vintage. Wire lace ribbon comes in different sizes and colors.

Some technical tips- if your bead holes are too large, make a knot before and after with the ribbon to keep them from sliding. If you aren't adept at ribbon ends, use a spot of glue for extra fold. Enjoy these jewelry making instructions for wire ribbon lace in your next beaded jewelry design.
